The Food Education Project Program Evaluation Plan

As a comprehensive program, The Food Education Project strives to deliver education that is supported by research and measurement. The importance of a successful program comes from knowing how those learn and benefit from such. The project monitors and measures student's impact and success throughout the school year and is evaluated to ensure programmatic impact on the individual and community as a community-based intervention.
Since the launch of our internship program with our partner, The University of San Francisco, The Food Education Project has assisted in graduating over 15 Master of Public Health interns who fulfill graduation requirements for 300 hours. As a main preceptor for the local university, we are proud to share our accomplishments of those who have been committed to dedicating their lives to diabetes prevention and health advocacy in the Bay Area.
Since inception in 2012, we are now in our postest result/phase III in our program evaluation. For more information on our research in childhood diabetes and diabetes prevention, please feel free to contact us at [email protected]
